Start the CSS Profile. The University of Arizona requires the CSS Profile for students wishing to qualify for the Arizona Assurance Program. Many out-of-state universities also require the CSS Profile.

All eligible students should complete the FAFSA beginning Oct. 1st for the following school year. Watch for priority deadlines for the colleges of your choice.

Arizona State University – January 1

University of Arizona – March 1

Pima Community College – March 1

You can still receive financial aid if you miss these deadlines, but you might receive less money if you miss the deadline. Don't miss out on money because of procrastination!

  • Federal Student Aid website
  • Arizona FAFSA Hotline - 1-833-AZ-FAFSA (833-293-2372). Students and families can call the hotline between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday for free FAFSA support.
  • One-on-one FAFSA meetings - Students and families can schedule one-on-one appointments with local FAFSA experts for help. All appointments take place virtually via ZOOM, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. Click HERE to schedule a meeting.

Scholarships A-Z
ScholarshipsA-Z is a Tucson-based immigrant youth-led organization that works to make higher education accessible to all students regardless of immigration status.

TheDream.US is now receiving applications for the 2023-2024 academic cycle.

These scholarships are available for students who arrived in the U.S. when 16 years old or younger, and before November 1st, 2017. Undocumented persons, as well as those who are not eligible for DACA, or who have Temporary Protected Status (TPS) are welcome to apply. The deadline for students in Arizona is February 28, 2023, and the resources range from $19,500 to $39,000 depending on the academic level.
Dual Enrollment Registration
Pima Community College Enrollment & EdReady Placement Checklist

Step 1: Apply for Admission to PCC

  • Go to pima.edu and click on “Apply Now”
  • Next to New students, click apply here and create an account for your application
  • Complete your application as a Dual Enrollment student

Step 2: Set Up Your MyPima Account

  • Once you are assigned your A#, go to my.pima.edu
  • Click on New to MyPima? Activate your account
  • Write down your A#, username, password, and email associated with MyPima account

Step 3: Take the EdReady Placement Tests

  • Log in to MyPima, go to the left side and under ”Tools”> “Academics” > “Pima Ed Ready Placement Tests”
  • Use the Pima-specific EdReady GOAL KEYS:
    • Math: PlaceAA23 (minimum score of 70)
    • Writing: PlaceWRT23 (minimum score of 65 needed)
    • Reading: PlaceREA23 (minimum score of 70 needed)
  • Review your scores and complete study paths (modules) if needed to improve placement level

Step 4: Confirm your scores with Pima and CCRC

  • Email Christie Monreal (Pima) AND your CCRC Walker
